Storyboard Text

  • This law means that something with less mass is easier to move than something that has a greater mass.
  • It is easier for someone to push a toy that doesn't have much mass than something that is big and has a large mass, such as a car.
  • Newton's third law of motion says “For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.”
  • The Third Newton law talks about when an object has a force act on it, there is an equal opposite force that also acts on the object
  • When I push with my hands and feet, the force is me pushing with my feet backwards and the opposite force pushes me forward
  • When you let the air out of a balloon, the action of the air rushing out of the balloon causes a reaction force of the balloon to fly upward.
