  • Storming of the Bastille
  • The Estates- General was created by Louis XIV where the wealthy and powerful classes demanded on it. The Estates-General is a legislative body consisting of representatives of the three estates, before making any changes. 
  • Revolution Begins
  • The Tennis Court Oath was created by the Third Estate. They swore "never separate and to meet wherever the circumstances might require until we have established a sound and just constitution," where Louis accepted it. They wanted to create the Tennis Oath because it was a big step for them, the Third Estate was always outvoted by the First and Second Estate and the Third wanted to be accepted and let others join. 
  • The storming of the Bastille is a battle between 800 Parisians and  Bastille. The battle started by a rumor that royal troops were going to occupy the capital. But, the commander of the Bastille refused to open the gates and shot the crowd.  The finally broke the defense and went to the castle to kill the commander and five guards to release the prisoner. Which, the Bastille was a symbol to the people of France representing years of abuse by the monarchy.
