Storyboard Text

  • The Birth
  • The Struggling People
  • Looking For Advice
  • Artemis and Poseidon have a child named Aquatius. Poseidon decides that when the child is old enough, he will rule all freshwater on Earth.
  • Help From Athena... Or Not
  • Aquatius begins to rule over the rivers and streams of Earth but sees people struggle to catch fish. He shows them how to make a spear, but it cannot hold any fish. He is determined to find a way to help the humans.
  • Discovering Arachne
  • Aquatius asks Hephaestus about the problem, but he too, is stumped. He recommends that Aquatius makes some device that humans can use to hold fish. Aquatius has no clue what to do and prays to Athena for advice.
  • The Fishing Rod and the Net
  • After praying to Athena, Aquatius stumbles upon a weaving contest between Arachne and Athena herself. He asks Athena for yarn, but when she discovers he is a son of Poseidon, she rejects him and disappears. Because she won't help him, he goes searching for Arachne.
  • After searching for Arachne, Aquatius stumbled upon a grove and discovered a spider. It said that it was Arachne and that Athena turned it into a spider. Aquatius and Arachne agree that Athena is terrible, and then Arachne agrees to help Aquatius with his fish problem, for a price.
  • Aquatius uses some of his Father's horses to take Arachne to Rome to transform her into a half-human half-spider beast to haunt the Athena Parthenos. In return, she gives him spider web to make the fishing rod and fishing net.
