  • Britain sent over ships with goods to settle the colonies. Britain also wanted the settles to get valuable.
  • while the Britain turned their attention away from the colonies, the colonies started to become unique and independence. A new colonial identity emerged, they slowly started to think of themselves less like Britain subjects and more like Americans.
  • Mercantilism was the economies belief that a country becomes wealthy through the trade. Mercantilism was a trade route from the 13 colonies. the 13 colonies gave the Britain raw materials resources, and the Britain gave back manufacture.
  • The 13 British colonies were the Britain colonize North America and created the 13 permanent colonies. First 2 settlements were Jamestown and Plymouth, colonies were dived into 3 regions.
  • The three regions of the 13 British colonies is the new England colonies, the middle colonies, and the southern colonies. a colony is an area region controlled by another country.
  • the British colonies were the colonized country' of North America. Jamestown was the first permanent colony. when was it 1607, what was it a group of wealthy English merchants, bring only supplies to dig for good.
