- Welcome to "Life in the Era of Expansion for History 1020"
- We see society become more like the one we live in today with a emphasis on consumerism and an increasing population. There are many new problems too as poverty and illegitimacy increase as well.
- Pick ONE of the areas mentioned in this chapter. They are Marriage & Family, Children & Education, Popular Culture & Consumerism, Religious Authority & Beliefs and Medical Practices.
- Create a storyboard that creatively illustrates how this area of daily life was new and different from in the past. Mention some of the pros and cons of these changes. You have to be concise to get your point across in such a small space. Don't just SUMMARIZE the changes, be thoughtful and creative.
