  • World War 1 Breaks Out
  • Nicholas ll wasn't capable enough to take personal charge.
  • Rasputin's Influence
  • October Revolution
  • Soldiers are tired with the ongoing war
  • The outbreak of WW1 caused Russia's supplies to decrease. Nicholas II went to take personal charge about it, but was incompetent to do so.
  • Treaty of Brest-Litovsk
  • I'll sign.. to make you happy
  • Gave advice to tsarina, Alexandra when Nicholas ll was gone. He helped her son from a disease, which gave the tsarina more belief that he had powers. The nobles felt that he was threatening the government, so they executed him. 
  • Civil War
  • Alexander Kerensky continued with the war effort, but most Russians were tired keeping up with it.  Peasants just wanted land and city workers wanted to end shortages. 
  • New Economic Policy
  • Look at what I purchased from out own private profit.
  • Gave up a big part of territory and population to gain peace with the Communist.
  • The Civil War was against the "Reds" or the communists and the "Whites", or the counterrevolutionaries. Fighting against their different political views, an abundance of blood was shed as the Allied Powers attempted to intervene on several occasions.   
  • The NEP worked similar to a communist government. The government took control of banks, foreign trade, and large industries but allowed small bushiness to keep their own private profit.
