As Cedric arrives at the bus stop one morning before school, he is awaited by a messenger, who warns him of a sinister plot planned by an unknown villain, and as he boards the bus he comes to the realization that the bus isn't taking it's normal route, and is instead heading to a land unknown to Cedric.
-TESTS, ALLIES, ENEMIES-
The bus stops and Cedric is forced out, at first, a sense of fear arises, but is soon overshadowed by a sense of pride and courage. As cedric steps out from the bus, he is accompanied by Ryda, another boy of similar age, and, as he appears, the messanger.
-THE SUPREME ORDEAL-
The messenger warns Cedric of the wasteland he is to enter and the dangers it beholds. Still the walk on, Ryda lagging behind slightly, and as they cross the threshold that is the wasteland borders, it becomes apparent that the villain himself is only half thr challenge compared to the wasteland itself.
As they venture across the wasteland in search of the darkness that beholds our villain, Cedric and the heroes are forced to fight their way through hordes of chemically mutated animals, from three-foot beetles and scorpions, and giant bears, even giant mutated humans.
As they venture fourth to the darkness that beholds Lord Terradon, Cedric's eye is entranced by the gleam of an object; Terradon's chemically modified rocket launcher. They enter the cavern, the chem-launcher at hand, Cedric steps up to Lord Terradon and begins persuasion, meanwhile Ryda sneaks forward, stealing the chem-launcher, he soon makes the drastic decision to mutate himself, of which he does with the chem-launcher. With this he harnesses the ability to defeat Lord Terradon...
As they venture back, Ryda decides to sacrifice himself and stay upon the wasteland, and farewells Cedric and the messenger as they venture fourth, and return to the usual world.
