Exposition- The story starts out on a dreary December night with a man who tries to drown out his sadness of his lost love Lenore.
Conflict-Man vs Self- The man cannot get over the loss of his beloved Lenore.
Rising Action- A raven swoops in and lands on his statue of Pallas, the only thing the raven responds with is "Nevermore"
Climax- Because the raven says that the man will never see Lenore again and he will not get over her he is put into a state of rage.
Falling Action- Because the man is told he is never going to be able to forget Lenore or see her again, he becomes sadder and sadder.
Resolution- The man has let reality set in and he realizes that his dreams of being with Lenore are gone, he feels like he is no longer whole, and the raven sits upon the statue of Pallas as the reminder to him that Lenore is gone.
