Actors Movement: A frightened family on their annual holiday trip take cover inside their boat to shelter from the brewing storm. Camera Movement: Establishing shot, the camera moves with the boat rocking side to side, up and down. Soundtrack: Waves crashing against the hull of the boat, children screaming, Lighting striking, the owling wind, sails flapping against the mast.
Actors Movement: The family realise they are in a deadly storm and glance out to see the dangerous downpour. Camera Movement: Close up shot, emphasising the different emotions on the faces of each shocked and terrified family member. Extremely concerned parents, terrified children. Soundtrack: The creaking of the hull of the boat as it is strained by the pressure of the waves, children screaming, thunder rumbling.
Actors Movement: The brave father quickly reaches for the flare gun to signal for help. What he doesn't know is that the boat is leaking. Camera Movement: Close up shot, to give a clear understanding of what the father is picking up and about to do. Soundtrack: Water gushing from the leak in the boat, the father loading the flare gun.
Actors Movement: The parents run up onto the deck to fire the flare gun to attract attention. Camera Movement: High angle shot, moving with the boat to show the situation that the family is in. Soundtrack: The crackling fire of the flare gun, the crashing of the waves, the screaming of children, mother on the 2-way radio yelling "Mayday" to the coast guard.
Actors Movement: The boat is hit by lightning. The terrified parents are thrown overboard. The boat is split in half. Camera Movement: Wide shot, showing the total destruction of the boat. Soundtrack: Children screaming for their parents that they see floating dead in the water, the thunderous sound of the lightning destroying the boat, heavy rain hitting the debris.
Actors Movement: The poor, heartbroken children swim to a piece of floating debris and weep and wonder what they should do. Camera Movement: Point of view shot, camera switching from one person's viewpoint to the other(Boy to Girl). Soundtrack: Children weeping, sharks tearing their parent's bodies apart and thrashing in the water, the distant hum of helicopter blades approaching, the waves splashing against the debris on which they are sitting on.
