Newton's First Law by Max Yee Period 4 4/24/2017
An object in motion stays in motion, an object at rest stays at rest
I was on my way back home from school and I saw two kids playing baseball and I asked them if I can join.
Hello guys, can I join your game?
I realized that they couldn't catch their baseball the whole time since the ball wasn't reaching the other person
Guys! Newton's First Law states that an object in motion will stay in motion unless acted on by an unbalanced force. Your baseball would travel in a straight line to the other person, but there is gravity so the ball would be pulled down towards the Earth. Try throwing harder!
Hey! Thanks, Asa!
Sure, that will be awsome
