Anthony, Octavius, and Lepidus all meet at a house to discuss a list of people who they will assassinate. The list includes Anthony's nephew and Lepidus' brother.
Act IV, Scene 1
"Is it fit, The threefold world divided, he should standOne of the three to share it?(Anthony, 13-15)
After Lepidus leaves, Anthony asked Octavius if Lepidus is worthy enough to rule Rome with the both of them. Octavius trust him, but Anthony still distrusts him.
"So you thought him,And took his voice who should be pricked to die."(Octavius, 15-16)
"So is my horse, Octavius, and for thatI do appoint him store of provender." (Anthony, 29-30)
Octavius tries to tell Anthony that Lepidus is a valiant soldier. Anthony goes on to say his horse is also valiant as well, and goes on to compare Lepidus to his horse.
"You may do your will;But he's a tried and valiant soldier." (Octavius, 27-28)
Act IV, Scene 2
"Most noble brother you have done me wrong." (Cassius, 37)
Brutus and Lucilius wait for Cassius to speak with him. Cassius and Brutus are not on good terms. Cassius also brings his army along.
"Speak your griefs softly. I do know you well.Before the eyes of both our armies here." (Brutus, 42-43)
"Urge me no more, I shall forget myself.Have mind upon your health; tempt me no further." (Cassius, 87-88)
Brutus brings the Ides of March into the disagreement, the day they killed Caesar. They insult each other, Brutus is disappointed in Cassius.
"Remember March, the Ides of March remember. Contaminate our fingers with base bribes,And sell the mighty space of our large honors." (Brutus, 70, 76-77)
"No man bears sorrow better. Portia is dead." (Brutus, 199)
Cassius and Brutus end up forgiving each other and have wine together. Brutus then tells Cassius Portia had killed herself by swallowing hot coals.
