On Friendship "The Scarlet Ibis"
Doodle's parents thought he wouldn't make it and they didn't care for him when he did make it. Then after Doodle's brother taught him how to walk, that is when they started to care.
Since Doodle was different from other little boys and could't do the same things as them his brother was ashamed of having him as a little brother which led to the death of him.
At times the Brother was caring for Doodle when he would collect flowers with him to make flower crowns but also he would push him too hard and only wanted him to get better because of how ashamed he was.
