In a small town called Maycomb there lived Atticus, Jem, Dill, Scout, Boo Radley, and Tom Robinson. Dill had just moved in for the summer to live with his Aunt Rachel. Dill, Scout, and Jem became very good friends. They were always playing together and were very fascinated by the mysterious Boo Radley. They were very scared of Boo because he was secretive and never left his home. But while they were having their fun, Atticus Finch was dealing with the court case of Tom Robinson, who was accused of raping a white woman. Atticus was a very good lawyer, but not good enough to keep Tom out of jail. In the end, Tom Robinson was shot to death and Scout became very good friends with Boo Radley.
