Hi, my name is Maci and I chose a radiologist as my career research. In my slides I will be talking about radiology and why I find it interesting.
A radiologist is doctor that usually works in doctors offices, clinics and hospitals. They intemperate x-rays, C.T. scan, ultrasounds, and M.R.I's.
A radiologist preforms image guided procedures. As well as diagnoses and treats disease and injury through the use of medical imaging techniques.
To be a radiologist you must get a bachelors degree before medical school. Then you will have to pass the M.C.A.T.'s (Medical Colleges Admission Test) to be able to go to medical school.
After you complete medical school you must take and pass either the U.S.M.L.E or C.O.M.L.E.X. tests. Then start your 4- year residency to become board certified.
This occupation interest me because I want to help people with our worlds new technologies.
