"I swear, Scout you act more like a girl all the time."(Foote 24)
As dill ask scout why she calls her dad Atticus, she says "cause Jem does." (Foote 13) She looks up to her brother and follows in his footsteps. "Our mama's dead, but we got a daddy." (Foote 10) She always tells the truth. She doesn't know if she needs to stop talking.
"I still don't see why I have to wear a darn old dress." (Foote 30)
As Scout, Jem, and Dill come to the jail and the lynch mob; Scout sees someone she knows in the mob "I said, "Hey" Mr. Cunningham. How's your entailment getting along?" (Foote 51) She embarrasses Mr. Cunningham and breaks the lynch mob up. Sometimes She makes people feel bad and doesn't realize it.
Scout is a little girl who is very strong willed. she doesn't always know what she is doing but it se ms to usually work out for her. Scout loves blues jeans over dresses and will always defend the people she loves.
Jem says to Scout, "I swear, Scout you act more like a girl all the time." (Foote 24) Scout is a tomboy and usually doesn't act like a girl. Somtimes she gets mad and defends her family. Scout got in a fight with a boy because he said means things about Atticus.
"Scout, six, dressed in blue jeans." (Foote 6) Scout is a young, but confident, little girl. As Scout is getting ready for her first day of school, "I still don't see why I have to wear a darn old dress." (Foote 30) She hates dresses and loves her blue jeans.
