This is Tim. Tim just got home from work and is very hungry, but Tim has a problem.
Tim is completely out of food! Tim decides to run to the store and buy groceries.
At the grocery store, Tim discovers another problem. He is completely out of cash money, and his debit card has no money left.
He can just use his credit card!
But Tim has no need to worry.
Unlike a debit card, which uses money you already have, a credit card is an automatic way to pay for something using your credit company's money, with a promise to the company that you will pay them back in the future.
