Alright class, today we are going to start presented our "favorite memory" stories to the class. Eddie, you're up first!
As long as I can remember, I've loved soccer. Almost every day, my dad and I would play soccer in the backyard for hours. When I was old enough to play on a team, my dad coached us every year. He believed in us and pushed us to be the best we can be. My favorite memory was the day we won the U-10 championship for the Philadelphia area. My dad was so proud of my teammates and I. This is the jersey I wore during that game. Unfortunately, that was the last time my dad got to see me play. He was diagnosed with cancer a couple weeks after we won and he's been in the hospital ever since. I wear this jersey to remind myself that my dad is always fighting to win the battle, just like how our team fought to win the championship.
