  • This is my story .………………
  • Ahmet’s special pot plant was broken to pieces onto the floor. Josie, Michael, Tom and the narrator all thought Brendan the bully had stopped messing with them, after the fight with him. But then Ahmet’s special plant got smashed to pieces, After he won his special stars. Ahmet keeps on getting pranks pulled on him like the deathly worm tray and his special pot plant getting smashed.

  • When everyone was told to get there P.E kits from there bag Ahmet opened his bag to find baked beans dropping all over the floor and all over him. It was like a big sloppy river. Mrs Hemsi was so furious that she canceled P.E and made Mrs sanders come over to tell everyone off. Ahmet started to sob and tears started to fall from his eyes onto his cheeks.Even though when a awful trick was played on Ahmet and his bag Ahmet still brought it to school each day. Even when Mrs Hemsi washed Ahmet’s bag many times, it still smelled funny and looked worse. This brings me to the conclusion that there is a significance with this backpack, that it is very special.

  • Ahmet decided to tell his own story during story time and showed a picture that he had drawn. In the picture it showed his family His Mum, Dad and Sister and a pet cat! His journey ………
  • When Ahmet continued with his story, he showed a picture of War that he had drawn. It included a picture of a bomb and people holding guns. Then he continued with his story. He talked about how he had to flee his country because it wasn’t safe and showed a picture of him with his family and him with his rucksack which explained why it was so special. He had brought it from home! Ahmet and his family had fled into a boat to flee Syria and in the drawing he had showed people asking for help.
  • Ahmet and his Dad had fled to Greece without his Sister, Mum and cat. They took shelter in refugee tents. When Ahmet showed the next picture where they went to France and where put into a detention centre where everyone looked sad and miserable. With people that had guns pointed towards them.

  • The class where asked to write questions to Ahmet’s story and Ahmet answered three of him with the help of his E.A. The students where told to not ask Ahmet any questions without any permission from the teachers. Also what Ahmet was doing in the seclusion space. A place where he could talk to adults about what happened to him and his story.
