There are steps you have to take to get your bill passed. The first is to go get your bill drafted.
The next thing you have to do is take your bill to the House and introduce the bill.

The next thing is its sent to the right committee and they vote if the bill is passed and then the house debate on it.
There is so much crap you have to do! Just to get a law passed.

The Bill Is Debated When a bill is debated, Representatives discuss the bill and explain why they agree or disagree with it.
This hole thing takes a while to do.
So after all this a law can beome law, thats alot of work for one pice of paper.
A bill becomes law if signed by the President or if not signed within 10 days and Congress is in session.If Congress adjourns before the 10 days and the President has not signed the bill then it does not become law, pocket veto.
