  • Haha we have you outnumbered!
  • The Battle of Brooklyn
  • Trenton and Princeton
  • The Battle of Saratoga
  • In this battle, the Americans were defeated by the British. The British had 20,000 troops, and the Americans only had 10,000 troops.
  • Winter at Valley Forge 
  • Man, its too cold for this!
  • Princeton had won the two battles that they had fought. The Battles took place in New Jersey
  • The Southern Campaign: Cowpens and Guilford Courthouse
  • The Patriots had taken the victory in this battle. The American general was Horatio Gates, and the British general was John Burgoyne.
  • The Battle/Siege of Yorktown
  • hmm, what a nice day for winning battles!
  • There were many hardships that the men at Valley Forge had faced. This includes: Fighting on ground that was covered in snow, having a very little amount of supplies, and the weather being much too cold and windy. 
  • Cowpens: The Continental army had won this battle. This was important because it was the first major battle won by The Continental army in the south. Guilford Courthouse: In this battle, the British had surrendered and retreated to Yorktown. This was important because it caused a victory of the colonies in the revolutionary war. 
  • FINALLY!  We won!
  • The general of the British was Charles Cornwallis. The American general was George Washington. The Continental Army had won this battle. Unlike at Valley Forge, the weather at Yorktown, Virginia was very clear.
