Together with Soth, Veasna raised a bunch of oxen. However, as time passed, King Veasna realized that he had no heir to his throne.
A few months later, he had an idea! Whoever owned the next newborn ox would take over the throne and council of Thyssia. He thought it was fair and generous.
In actuality, it was a terrible idea. The next newborn ox was born on the border of Thyssia and the neighboring country, and people fought desperately for the ownership of the baby. It had been wild-born and didn't belong to anyone. Eventually, the countries fought so much with each other and destroyed themselves.
Being the current king, Veasna was one of the last few to survive the battle. Soth, his long-time friend, in anger and frustration, explained to him the fault of his actions.
Veasna realized the impact of his decree and that the prophecy had come true. His unreasonable obsession with oxen had destroyed everything. There were no heirs and he was now on his deathbed.
In his old age, Veasna died alone with no heir and no kingdom, realizing that the love that he found was not for a single person, but for ox-cart riding. His obsession had led to doom.
