HH+OO -------> OHH OHH we still have an unbalanced equation. So we need to add more hydrogen to the reactant side H2+O2----->2 H2O we now need to add more hydrogen to balance and our end product looks like this: 2H2 + O2 = 2H2O
Step 4 Continue adding coefficents to get the same number of atoms on both sides for each element 2H+02------> 2H2O
always start with metals followed by non metals and balance oxygen last
step 5 check your work make sure both sides are balanced equally.
