  • Yes, of course!
  • Hello, I am a reporter and i am here to ask you some questions about the structure of the London eye.
  • What's the measurements of the London Eye?
  • The Height is 135 m and 143 ft and the diameter 120 m and 394 ft and the radius is 67.5 m
  • There is actually 32 capsules because of the 32 Bureaus of London, and the capsules are made out of glass and it also fits 32 people in each capsule.
  • Im wondering how many capsules are there in the London Eye and what is the significance behind it?
  • This circular ferris wheel weighs 1,000 tons. The London Eye is unique for its cantilevered (supported by only one side) structure. They are supported by two 4 m diameter steel ring bearings that ensure the pods remain level as the wheel turns. This design means the capsules have a low centre of gravity that makes them unstable if the passengers move around inside the pod. To compensate for this, each capsule is fitted with a mechanical leveling system to ensure they remain horizontal.
  • How would you describe the London Eye in a scientific way.
  • And here are some pictures of the London Eye, from the day it opened to the inside of the capsule to a magnificent view over the sunset.
  • I hope i answered all your questions the way you wanted me to.
  • Yes! thank you so much i understood why the London Eye was so significant and everything you explained was very clear
