Seizing the Prize
After learning about the sacrifice of children to the king of Minus, Theseus prepared himself as tribute in order to slay the Minotaur once and for all.
With the help of Ariadne, Theseus slays the feared Minotaur and is proclaimed hero.
After slaying the Minotaur, Theseus and Ariadne escaped from Minus with the other children who were going to have to give up their lives. They had a party on an island.
Theseus has a dream about Ariadne and decided to leave her on the island. Ariahedne wakes up alone on the beach, even though she had helped Theseus and the others escape.
Theseus' father Aegeus had told Theseus to raise white sails if everything went fine, but when Aegeus saw the black sails he plummeted into the sea, grief stricken by what he thought was his son's death.
After his father's death, Theseus assumed conrol of Athens and ruled his father's city. Theseus was a hero and a force to be reckoned with.
