Storyboard Text

  • Ah we don't need to worship the gods, we are just as lovely.
  • Poor Moon, her creations will be destroyed for their arrogance.
  • Moon, your humans have stopped worshiping us. They think they are our equals.
  • Please, give them a chance.
  • My dearest creations must be reminded of their place. Oh this is all my fault, i should not have made them our equals, i should have never made them immortal.
  • And so, the Moon gathered her tears in a bottle and visited the smith of the gods.
  • I must do something, I can't stand by and watch them be destroyed.
  • Back on Earth, the gorgeous princess of Myrso, Deola, was visited on night by the goddess.
  • Hello silver one, why have you come to my home?
  • I come bearing gifts, a looking glass, handcrafted. May you look upon it always.
  • The mirror contained the tears of the goddess and was cursed.
  • All who looked upon it would be driven insane with feelings of insecurity and jealousy.
  • The princess' father tried to destroy the mirror but, every time he did, more mirrors appeared.
  • They worship us once more, Moon, I promise no harm will come to your children.
  • They are jealous and hateful now, they are no longer my children.
  • Eventually, nearly every human possessed a mirror, and our jealousy made us imperfect. It made us mere mortals.
