  • Good-morning class! Today we're learning about the American Revolution!
  • History 101: The American Revolution
  • But first, lets listen to the song "Guns and Ships" by the Broadway cast of Hamilton.
  • As Andy was walking out of the bus, the bell rang which meant it was time for his first class of the day - History.
  • Yay! I love when we listen to music
  • I love this class!
  • Woo!
  • Andy's teacher, Mr. White, alerts the class that they will be learning about the American Revolution for the day.
  • ...so as you can see A. Hamilton had a huge part in the Revolution...
  • 30 minutes later...
  • First, however, Mr. White decides to have his class listen to the song "Guns and Ships" by the Original Broadway Musical Cast of Hamilton to start off his lesson.
  • OK class! Don't forget about our test tomorrow!
  • RING
  • Andy and his classmates are overcome with joy at the fact that, once again, they get to listen to music in class.
  • As Mr. White plays the song, he pauses the song and explains what the song means and why it is relevant. He also allows his students to ask any questions they may have to make sure they understand the material.
  • As the class ends, Mr. White reminds his students that they have a test tomorrow.
