  • Sold to France...
  • There was need for war reparations, which lead to debt. Allies had to collect money to pay back war debts. Also the Germans are in need of money, due to bankruptcy. These debt payments causes forces Germany into depression.
  • -no air force.. -no military above 100,00 troops -no mechanizing army -no more than one ship in the navy
  • The Treaty of Versailles caused a increase in loss of land. Germany lost 10% of its land, 12% of its population, 16% of its coalfields, and half of its steel and iron industries.
  • After the Treaty of Versailles, in Germany the British blockade was still going on. Therefore people were rioting due to starvation.
  • The Treaty of Versailles lead to several restrictions of Germany. After this treaty Germany were no longer allowed to better their military. They were forced to suit with very little protection when it came to war.
  • The League of Nations was created to ensure that war would not break out again.
  • Treaty of Versailles fueled the hatred that Germany had for Europe. This hatred lead to WWII.
