Storyboard Text

  • Under the Sea, Wait, No... Bridge
  • Did you get any food today Crane-man?
  • Not today. Hopefully I can collect some extra rice from the fields tomorrow.
  • A Cold Winter's NIght
  • Thank you Tree-ear. You working for Min has helped us survive this cold winter! I greatly appreciate you friend.
  • Crane-man, I got some food for us tonight, and I also got some new pants for you from Ajima! Here
  • The pleasure is mine good friend.
  • Stranger Danger, More Like Bandits Demand It
  • It must've taken those beautiful young women much courage to be willing to jump to their deaths.
  • Come on! Let's get him!
  • Before Winter arrives, Crane-man & Tree-ear live under the bridge. They struggle to find food, and they are some of the very less fortunate orphans.
  • A Tragic Accident
  • Who said that??
  • Tree-ear and Crane-man are forced to live in the vegetable hut due to the bitterly cold winters.
  • A Complicated Compromise
  • I know it's not much Emissary, but you have to understand that I was robbed by bandits, and this was the best I could do. I'm so sorry.
  • Tree-ear is standing on top of The Rock of the Falling Flowers when two bandits come and smash both the vases. They also take his money and his food.
  • Home Sweet Home
  • Make sure you're home for supper, Hyuong-pil.
  • Crane-man was trying to catch a ride in one of the trucks when they hit a bump and he fell off the truck and into the river. The coldness of the water shocked his heart and he passed away without suffer.
  • TREE EAR!!!!
  • Tree-ear traveled all the way to Songdo to present Emissary Kim the broken shard. He was so impressed with the work that he decided to give Master Min the commission.
  • The delicacy, the intricate  design, I don't know what else to do other than give your Master Min a commission!
  • Ajima welcomes home her new son, and she signals for Hyoung-pil to be home for supper. This makes Houng-pil feel very welcomed, and not like an orphan at all.
  • Yes, Ajima. I'll be here.
