  • Hamlet tells Ophelia he does not love her and never did. 
  • You are a fool for thinking I loved you.
  • Claudius leaves the play where his brother's murder is recited in distress.
  • Hamlet is very upset with his mother, but reminds himself that he cannot hurt her.
  • How could you?
  • The Queen requests to speak with Claudius in her chamber and Polonius decides to eavesdrop.
  • Polonius hides behind a tapestry in the Queen's room, but when Hamlet comes in he gets scared and lets out a cry for help. This causes Hamlet to draw his sword and accidentally kill Polonius.
  • Ahh! Help!
  • The ghost comes back and since the Queen cannot hear or see it, she thinks that Hamlet is hallucinating.
