  • The setting is the speaker's bedroom which is described as being dark and spooky.

  • This is an example of imagery because it helps the reader imagine the slow rustling of curtains and feel maybe a slight breeze that would portray him feeling terrors he has never felt before.

  • This is an example of refrain because this quote is in the poem several times.
