Storyboard Text

  • (5th century) Us Hindus here have created a number used to describe nothingness, we shall call it shunya, which means emptiness or nothingness.
  • The symbol has changed a lot over time, The Babylonians depicted it as two angled wedges/triangles, the Mayans, used a character resembling an eye, the  Chinese, wrote the zero as we do today (an open circle), and the Hindus used a dot.
  • I Fibonacci bring you these numerals that I have discovered throughout my travels in North Africa. But this one specifically, it is used to describe "nothing". We shall call it Zero
