Isaac Newton discovered the Law of Gravity from examining a apple falling from a tree. Without his law, we would not be able to understand certain properties of space and things like why is there nothing to stop someone from falling.
William Harvey was the first person to discover that blood circulates through the body after many years of different theories. This is important in todays world because now we know that if blood isnt circulating you can die.
Sir Francis Bacon is known as the father of modern science because of his scientific theory that is used today. His science theory helps us understand how the world works today, otherwise we would still believe the theories of the middle ages.
•Antonie van Leeuwenhoek (microscope)
Johannes Kelper discovered how gravity works in space and the movements of planets. With these discoveries we now know how we have the ability to have stability on the ground.
Galileo made the first thermometer although it may have not been accurate. His purpose of this invention was to show the temperature of something. Today we use them to show body temperature, the temperature outside and more.
Antonie made the first microscope that showed bacteria. He was so amazed and if we didnt have him and his microscope we wouldnt know that there are more living bacteria than humans and when things are too tiny to see we can use our handy dandy microscope.
