  • I am Harriet Tubman. I am an one of the most famous Abolitionists. I was the conductor for the Underground Railroad. No I didn't actually conduct a railroad, but I did lead slaves to freedom from the South to the North. I have successfully brought all of the slaves without getting caught.
  • I am Frederick Douglass. I am a former slave and Abolitionist. I was raised in Maryland as a slave. When I escaped, I spoke against the injustice slavery is. I made public speeches and wrote an autobiography Escape from Slavery. This book described my treacherous escape from slavery.
  • I am Susan B Anthony. I am a woman's abolitionist. I also helped slaves. I was born a Quaker, which were people who believed that all people should be born equal and treated equal. I made anti-slavery petitions. I was arrested for voting, and during that time, women were not able to vote.
  • I am Sojourner Truth. I am a former slave and abolitionist. I escaped slavery with my daughter. I am known for my famous speeches, like the "Ain't I a Woman." I used only my voice to discuss what I felt was right. I attended the Women's Rights Convention in Ohio to discuss important issues for women.
  • I am Elizabeth Lady Stanton. I was a women's abolitionist. I believed that women should be able to go to college and get a good education. I also spoke at the Seneca Falls Convention. It was held in New York and it was a women's rights convention. I was a famous speaker there and this convention gave women the right to speak their minds.
  • I am William Lloyd Garrison. I am a reporter and suffragist. I was born a quaker, which is when people believed that people were treated equal. I was the editor of the abolitionist newspaper, The Liberator. The Liberator was an anti-slavery newspaper that expressed ideas for the public to read.
