I love you, and have known you forever.. I wish to mary you Thisbe.
I wish to marry you too Pyramis, but our parents have forbidden is from loving each other!
The couple could not endure talking through the wall anymore, so they planned to sneak out and meet each other out in the countryside
In between Thisbe and Pyramis' rooms, there was a hole, which was there only way of communicating with one another without their parents knowing.
Thisbe arrives at their pre-discussed location only to find that Pyramus had not yet arrived. She patiently waited until she saw a lioness and ran away, accidentally dropping her cloak.
After Thisbe left, the lioness clawed and bloodied Thisbe cloak, then leaves. Pyramus arrives to see Thisbe's bloody and torn cloak. He is heartbroken as he believed that she is dead. Pyramus drew his sword and plunged it into his side.
Thisbe returns back to the tree once she feels like the lion is gone. She sees Pyramus dead on the ground. Grieved and alone, she takes Pyramus' sword and stabs herself and dies. Joining Pyramus in death.
