King Henry was a man who only wanted a suitable boy to take over the throne when he dies, but even after doing brutal things to people, he never got his wish.

Storyboard Text

  • I shall marry the widow and unite our kingdoms once more!
  • Those two gave me girls, that one gave me a weak boy, that one is just ugly, and she cheated on me!
  • I'm sure you'll be great sweetheart.
  • I guess I'll be king tomorrow.
  • Sigh
  • After Prince Arthur, the heir to the throne of England died, his brother Prince Henry married the widow Princess Katherine of England and united the two kingdoms.
  • I am the rightful queen! Release me at once!
  • The king, however, desired to have a wife that would give birth to an ideal heir of England.Seeing that Queen Katherine could not, he sent her to a tower with her baby Mary and married many other wives but none gave birth to a strong boy suited to be king.
  • Queen Elizabeth
  • Go save England first. Then I'll shall pick my husband.
  • Your majesty, I ask your hand in marriage!
  • Although King Henry had no suitable heir, his sickly son came forth to rule England after his father's death. However, being the sick boy he was, he died at the early age of eighteen.
  • Here we are men! From this point forward, this land shall be known as Jamestown!
  • The next in line for throne was baby Mary who was now a grown women. During her reign she caused a civil war by trying to reunite England with the Church. In the end she lost, was dragged away, and earned herself the nickname Bloody Mary.
  • I'm afraid we can't do that...Bloody Mary.
  • Soon after Queen Mary came King Henry's second daughter Elizabeth. She became the best ruler England ever had and was admired by many young men. Using this to her advantage, she manipulated the young lads to fight for England so that then she could pick her husband.
  • We shall all fight for your hand, your majesty!
  • I would be honored to defend England for you!
  • Despite her promises, Queen Elizabeth had no husband and no children to be heir. Because of this, the people of England invited King James of Scotland to be their king. While he reigned, he sailed off and started a colony called Jamestown.
  • Hooray!
