Piaget: ' I believe that development occurs in four stages'. Vygotsky:' I believe that children perform more difficult tasks with help of advanced learners (Owens, 2011)'.
Piaget: ' I believe that the interaction with physical and social environment is the key for cognitive development'. Vygotsky: 'I believe that complex mental activities starts at a basic level (Owens, 2011)'.
Piaget:' I think the development occurs because the child is an active learner'. Vygotsky:' I agree! Because they provide feedback to the adult and teacher ()wens, 2011)'.
Piaget: ' I believe that cognitive development is influenced by social transmission'. Vygotsky: ' I agree, Social interaction is instrumental in development and heavily influenced by thoughts (Owens, 2011)'.
Piaget: ' I also believe that development declines with age'. Vygotsky: 'Yes. agreed. There is a steady increase of development in childhood then cognitive declines (Owens, 2011)'.
