William Baudelaire's Story
This storyboard does not have a description.
Before the Great Depression, my family was happily living in New York. My parents were factory workers. My siblings, Violet, Klaus, and Sunny, and I lived an average life.
Everything changed when my parents lost their jobs. We had to move to St. Louis into the Hoovervilles to be closer to the other Baudelaires. Mom and Dad wanted us to stick together. They always put us first. Unfortunately that caused their death.
Since I was 18, I joined the CCC after my parents died. I wanted to help out my family as much as I could. I was assigned to replant trees in the park nearby. I wasn't allowed to stay with my siblings, but i could send them the money from my job.
One winter, a huge ice storm hit us. There wasn't much heat in our hut, so we were freezing. From the money that I saved from my job, I bought a couple of blanekts, but they didn't help much.
My siblings and I decided to go to the soup kitchen to warm ourselves up. They were letting people sleep in their building, but they were full when we got to the front.
This made us make do with what we had. I was especially scared for Sunny because I could see her lips turning blue, but we got her by a fire and helped warm her up. It was a scary experience, but we got through it together.
