She saw that the passengers were anxious and waiting for the call.
At last the call had come and the flight attendants echoed the captain in alternating shouts as some sort of ritual "Brace! Brace! Brace!" As she was shouting this she thought what does brace mean.
She remembers while she was shouting brace she felt as if she were watching the wind blowing across a wheat field. Everyone had bent over when they started shouting brace. She didn't like that way of bracing however convenient it was. Some people in that position broke their hands from the impact from their heads, and some got black eyes from their faces hitting their knees.
Seeing some heads pop up she and the other flight attendant yelled "Get your heads down and stay down!" they Knew that could be the difference between life and death. She recalls that after the heads went down they hit the earth.
I remember just involuntarily closing my eyes and then opening them again and thinking, i can't believe all the body parts are still connected.
She remembers when when it started to tilt that she though "I don't want do this." Then the exit door separated from the frame and fire came through there and the flame went over her. She remembers feeling two/thirds of her body being burned in the fire. She said it was the most serene moment of her life. There was no pain, no fear, no nothing but peace. Then she was suspended in her seat niether awake or asleep.
