The U.S. president has to play many roles such as the Chief Legislator. As Chief Legislator, the president can sign and veto laws made by congress.
I've always thought it was a good idea to create more convenient schedules for students. I will discuss with Congress to make earlier school start times.
Congress, if school times are pushed forwards, it can help to preserve child health and prevent many harmful diseases in their future. Giving children the sleep they need will allow them to easily focus throughout the school day.
Madam President, Congress has sent to you the upcoming bill: All schools will be required to start no earlier than 10:00 a.m. with a fine of $3000 otherwise for every offense.
I will not sign this bill until it is revised to fit my goal as president. This bill must be vetoed for the better good.
Although it is my goal to make schools start later, we should not fine schools an outrageous amount of money when it could be going towards better programs and technology in schools. Today's children and Americans of the future deserve the best in their education!
