Storyboard Text

  • Demetrius, courted Nedar's daughter, Helena, and made her fall in love with him. She loves him devoutly. She adores his unfaithful and horrible self.
  • Oh my beautiful Hippolyta, our wedding is in four days, but i can't seem to wait until then.
  • I have to admit that I did indeed hear something about that and meant to ask Demetrius about it, but I was too busy it slipped my mind. Demetrius and Egeus, both of you come with me to discuss some matters. And Hermia you must be ready to do what your father because otherwise, the law says that you must die or become a nun.
  • My lord, I am as noble and rich as he is. I love Hermia more than he does. I'm as good as he is if not better, and Hermia loves me, which is more significant. Why can't I marry her?
  • The days seem to be passing by too slowly.
  • Oh don't you worry my dear Theseus. You will soon see that four days will pass by pretty quickly.
  • You will see the moon will be shining down on us the day we get married
  • Oh, honey! listen. In books, they always say that love always faces many obstacles. Either the lovers have different social standings...
  • Probably because they need rain, which I could easily give with all of the tears in my eyes.
  • Oh my beautiful Hippolyta, our wedding is in four days, but i can't seem to wait until then.
  • What going on with you, my love? Why do you look so pale? Why have the red roses on your cheeks faded?
  • Come with Me Hippolyta. How are you, my love?Demetrius and Egeus, come with us. I want you to do something for our wedding, and I also want to discuss with you something that concerns you both.
  • The days seem to be passing by too slowly.
  • We're following you not only because of our duty but because we want to.
  • Oh don't you worry my dear Theseus. You will soon see that four days will pass by pretty quickly.
  • You will see the moon will be shining down on us the day we get married
  • Or else they were two different ages...
  • Or, even if the lovers were a good match, their love might be ruined by war, death, or sickness, so that it only lasts a little while. Their time together may be fleeting or short, lasting only a lightning bolt flashing across the sky. Before you could say a word it's gone. That's how short things like love are lasting.
  • Or else their guardians and advisors disapprove of them...
  • Oh my beautiful Hippolyta, our wedding is in four days, but i can't seem to wait until then.
  • If true lovers are always thwarted then it must be a rule of fate. So let's try to be patient with our situation. It's a normal part of love.
  • Oh, what an obstacle that would be! Imagine being too high on the social ladder and falling for someone beneath you
  • Long live, our beloved and respected Duke Theseus.
  • How awful is being too old to marry someone younger!
  • The days seem to be passing by too slowly.
  • What hell, to have your love life determined and controlled by someone else!
  • Oh don't you worry my dear Theseus. You will soon see that four days will pass by pretty quickly.
  • Thank you, good Egeus. What's the news with you?
  • You will see the moon will be shining down on us the day we get married
  • That's the right attitude. Listen, Hermia, I have an aunt who is a widow, who's very rich and doesn't have any children. She lives two miles away from Athens, and she thinks of me as her son. I can marry you there, my dear, where the strict laws of Athens can't intrude.
  • Remember the place I met you there once with Helena to celebrate May Day.I will meet you there.
  • Oh my beautiful Hippolyta, our wedding is in four days, but i can't seem to wait until then.
  • Keep your promise, my love.Look, here comes Helena.
  • Here's the plan. If you truly love me then sneak out of your father's house and meet me in the forest a few miles outside of town.
  • Long live, our beloved and respected Duke Theseus.
  • Oh, Lysander, I swear I will be there tomorrow. I swear to you by everything and everything that ties lovers together, and by all the promises men have broken. I give you my word I will be there tomorrow
  • The days seem to be passing by too slowly.
  • Oh don't you worry my dear Theseus. You will soon see that four days will pass by pretty quickly.
  • Thank you, good Egeus. What's the news with you?
  • You will see the moon will be shining down on us the day we get married
  • That's right, Helena. Tomorrow night when the moon shines, we plan to sneak out of Athens.
  • Don't worry, Helena. He won't be seeing my face again. Lysander and I will be running away from here.
  • Oh my beautiful Hippolyta, our wedding is in four days, but i can't seem to wait until then.
  • Hello, beautiful Helena! Where are you going?
  • I curse him, but he loves me
  • It's not my fault he acts like that, Helena.
  • I frown at him, but he still loves me
  • The more I hate him, the more he follows me.
  • Did you just call me beautiful? Take it back! You are the beautiful one as far as Demetrius thinks.
  • Long live, our beloved and respected Duke Theseus.
  • The days seem to be passing by too slowly.
  • Oh, you are so lucky! Your eyes are like stars, and your voice is more musical than any song is in springtime. I wish looks were contagious. I would have caught yours. My eyes would be like yours, and my voice as melodic as yours.
  • Oh, teach me how you look the way you do, and how you made Demetrius love you.
  • It's your beauty's fault. I wish I faulted like that!
  • Oh, if only my smile can be as powerful as your frown.
  • The more I love him, the more he hates me.
  • If only my prayers can inspire that affection
  • Oh don't you worry my dear Theseus. You will soon see that four days will pass by pretty quickly.
  • Thank you, good Egeus. What's the news with you?
  • You will see the moon will be shining down on us the day we get married
  • Goodbye, Helena. I hope Demetrius comes to love as much as you love him.
  • You know the place in the woods where we used to hang out together and share each other's secrets. There is where Lysander and I shall meet.We will be turning our backs on everyone and everything.
  • I will, my love.
  • Goodbye, my friend. Pray for us and I hope you win Demetrius's heart.
  • Keep your promise, Lysander. We have to stay away from each other until midnight tomorrow.
  • Long live, our beloved and respected Duke Theseus.
  • Oh, how amazing it is to see them happy. I'm as beautiful as her, but Demetrius refuses to think otherwise. He's obsessed over her, while I'm obsessed over him . He used to be faithful to me until he met her.
  • Then I shall be faithful to him, and tell him, Hermia is running away. He'll run after her. If he's grateful to me, it will be worth the pain to help him pursue his love. At least I will be seeing him when he goes and comes back.
  • Thank you, good Egeus. What's the news with you?
