Storyboard Text

  • In a rage, Romeo slays Tibult. Prince Escalus banishes him from Verona, so he must flee.
  • No! Never!
  • I know! I'll have Friar Laurence help me!
  • potion
  • Capulet (Juliet's dad): You will marry Paris!
  • "There is thy gold, worse poison to men's souls..."
  • Not having received the message that Juliet is indeed alive, Romeo flees to the Apothecary. It's poison he seeks.
  • "O happy dagger! This is thy sheath; there rust and let me die."
  • Believing his love to be dead, Romeo kills himself. Juliet awakes soon after and sees his lifeless body. Overcome with grief and despair, she grabs his dagger and does the same.
  • Montague and Capulet realize it's time to burry the hatchet. ...Finally.

  • We'll erect gold statues in their honor!
  • Capulet
  • "For never was a story of more woe Than this of Juliet and her Romeo."
