- The area that was sold was home to manynatives at the time, and the land dictated how they lived. The US gainedcontrol of the Mississippi river Wich allowed for better trade and travel.

- The five civilized tribes were forced to move many were killed on the way and they had to compete with other tribes that were already in the area. for settlers This was the first major step to Indian removal in the US.

- The Alamo even though Texas lost the battle many more people joined the fight for Texas because of it.. The annexation of Texas started border disputes between Mexico and The United States because Mexico did not recognize Texas as a country.

- The border disputes led to war that the USA won and manifest destiny was fulfilled. Many people living in the areas that used to be Mexico were now American citizens.

- Oregon was very rich land that provided a lot of gold/silver so it became a place that many people immigrated to. Many Natives living there were moved out because of the people moving there.
