  • Rosa Parks was a black woman who worked in a shop in Montgomery and everyday she took the bus to and from her work.
  • But one day the bus was full and the driver asked the black people at the from to give their seats to white people.
  • Why don't you stand up?
  • If you don't stand up, I'm going to call the police!
  • I don't think I should have to stand up
  • You can do that
  • Under that situation, Martin Luther King decided to end segregation on Montgomery's buses.
  • We should boycott the buses in Montgomery. If we refuse to ride on them, the company is going to lose a lot of money.
  • It's the time to end the segregation!
  • Next morning the bus boycott started and lasted for more than year.
  • Why they don't take the buses?
  • For that reason many black people were arrested and put in prison.
  • The bus company was losing money, but it refused to change it's policy. However, judges said that segregation in buses was against the law.
  • The law is clear, the segregation in buses is over.
