Why hello again Tree-Ear. I have just made you a new pair of sandals.
Crane-Man! I brought home a surprise!
You will just have to work for me for 9 days.
Oh no! I'm so sorry!
House of Min
Did you hear?! There is a emissary coming through town assign a potter a commission!
Wow! Min would be so happy!
Tree-Ear is a young orphan in the village of Ch'ul'po. He lives under a bridge with his friend Crane-Man. They are both poor, and very hungry. Crane-Man has taught Tree-Ear some good lessons on how to be a nice person.
No! Don't take it!
Tree-Ear loves to watch Min, the master potter make pottery from behind the tree that stands next to his workspace. One day Tree-Ear comes out from behind the tree, and looks at Mins pottery. While he is staring at one peice, he drops it and it breaks when Min comes back.
Okay, we have decided to give your master the commission. You will travel back by boat to your destination.
One day while Tree-Ear was strolling down the path, he heard that an emissary was to be coming to Ch'ul'po. Tree-Ear was delighted because he wanted Min to get a Commission. Tree-Ear decides to pack-up and bring Min's pottery to the emmisary in Ch'ul'po.
Hyung-Pin! It's time for dinner.
Hehehe! Your going to be out of food soon!
When Tree-Ear gets to the mountain of the falling flowers, he is robbed, and then the robbers throw both of the vases over the mountain. All that is left is a single shard that Tree-Ear takes to Songdo.
I wonder how you will take it when these vases smash to the ground!
Tree-Ear takes the single shard of pottery to the emissary. They said yes to giving Min the commission! Tree-Ear goes back to his village by boat. Hr is exited to see Crane-Man, and Ajima, and Min!
Sir! Sir! I have a piece of my masters pottery that I would like to show you!
When Tree-Ear gets back, he tells everybody that Min got the commission. Min sounds sad. He tells Tree-Ear that Crane-Man died. Tree-Ear is very dissapointed. Min sends him into the woods to get some logs for his own wheel. Tree-Ear moves in with them, and finally learns how to make a pot.
