Seventh man

- It was the seventh man's turn to tell his story in the support group. Everyone turned their attention to him.
- "I lived in the province of S. They said there was a big typhoon coming so my parents and brother were getting ready for it. I was never close with my brother." he said, starting his story.
- "My dad and brother boarded up the house and we all huddled close to the radio. The rain felt like grains of sand against the roof and my young kid-self found this exciting."
- "The rain had stopped and dad told me we reached the eye of the storm so I decided to go out to the boardwalk for a bit. K, my next door neighbor and best friend in the world who I saw as my little brother, saw and decided to come with his little dog."
- "We reached the shore and explored for a bit but something was weird, as if something was waiting to strike. Suddenly the waves rolled back and I got this sense of fear. I tried to warn K to run but my voice stopped working. I ran myself to safety."
- "A giant wave was coming up behind K and he was too focused on something to notice. Once I got to safety I warned him. He tried to run but the wave swallowed him up and his dog. This traumatized me for the rest of my life, I moved out because of it and it wasn't until I was an adult that I re-visited my old town and got over this fear." he said, finishing his story.
