  • Attention all! The trial of King Louis XVI will be held on December 3rd, 1792 in the National Convention!
  • Off with his head!
  • I can't believe my people are doing this to me. How dare they, I am their king!
  • This revolution cannot be stopped Louis!
  • The king is being charged with 33 crimes and we will vote to determine his fate
  •  According to Article II of the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen, "The goal of any political association is the conservation of the natural and imprescriptible rights of man. These rights are liberty, property, safety and resistance against oppression." The king clearly has violated that!
  • Booooooo!
  • I, Raymond Deseze hereby declare the king innocent of the crimes brought against him. According to the Constitution of 1791, the king is free of prosecution.
  • In a 693-0 vote, the king is hereby found guilty. In a 361-319 vote, the king is to be beheaded without delay!
  • Good riddance!
