Brian is the main character of the book, Hatchet. His parents divorced and his dad does not know why because Brian’s mom did not tell his dad the SECRET. Brian goes back and forth to his mom and dad since they divorced. Brian travels alone on a small plane.
The pilot had a heart attack and they get off track. But, the plane is still up in the air flying. Brian took control of the plane and knew how to fly a little since the pilot taught him. He spoke to this guy on the radio and he asked for the location, Brian did not the location. Then, the radio just stopped working. When Brian pushed the nose of the plane, he threw up.
Brian thinks he’s going to die and he is trying to land near the lake for a soft landing so he wouldn’t be harmed too much. He lands wildly into the trees, over the water, and in the lake. Brian still had his seatbelt on and tried his best to unbuckle it. Luckily Brian survived, but sadly the pilot had passed away.
Brian remembers the memory as if a knife was cutting into him. The SECRET. It was a painful flashback. Time :3:31. Temperature :82. Terry turned over to smile at him when Brian looked over his head and saw his mom. WITH a man who had short blonde hair. They were in a car and the man was strange, someone he never saw before.
Water. Brian needed water, lots. His lips were cracked so bad that if he didn’t drink water right now, he would wither up and die. He felt the burn on his face. He climbed the tree and saw the lake. Lots of water for him to drink, but he didn’t know if it was good water for him to drink. But... the pilot strapped in, and the body. He was goingto take a sip, but drank a lot. Then threw up.
