  • Conflict
  • Rising Action
  • Two tribunes, Flavius and mruleus enter a Rome street and become irritated with the commoners wondering why they arent at work. Caesar is in town, and everyone is celebrating.
  • Climax
  • It is March 15th, and calpurnia had a nighmare that caesar will die today. she persuades caesar to stay home and be safe. Unfortunately the conspirators stop by, and tell him to not be controlled by his wife.
  • Falling Action
  • The conspirators surround Caesar, pretending to plead a case against Caesar's brother. They suddenly stab him 23 times. Casca was the first to stab him, and Brutus was the last.
  • Denoument
  • Brutus speaks of Julius Caesar's death to the citizens of Rome. He explains how Caesar had to be killed for the good of Rome. Antony turns the citizens against the conspirators by telling them Caesar's love for the people.
  • Brutus accuses Cassius of corruption and greed. Cassius informs Brutus of his wife,Portia's suicide. Brutus decides to move in on the enemy because he has nothing to lose.
  • Cassius was killed with the same dagger as Caesar. Brutus later kills himself with a sword. Mark Antony and Octavius tell the capitol that the conspirators of their death, and call Brutus " The Greatest Roman of all".
