Water is a non renewable resource that we use way too much of and waste it.
We get our energy from fracking and mining, but when fracking we use 9.6 million gallons of water per well! Then that water is just thrown out! That is not a sustainable way to use water!
Yuck! Are you kidding me?! We use too much water but there is some water we cant even use because we are polluting it so much. Can you believe we drink from some of this water? Not to mention how many animals get hurt from these dangerous things floating around in their homes.
Water is technically a renewable resource because it can be recylced but depending on the condition of that water it may or may not be able to be used. You dont want to drink water that came from a lake full of trash or water your lawn with dirty trash water.
Fracking uses water to crack rock and extract the oil underneath. However, before this water is used in the ground it is filled with chemicals to make it easier to latch onto the gas and extract it easier. After this the water has become toxic and unusable for people to either drink or use of other things.
Water sustainability is not only using water unnecessarily, its also how ell we take care of our water. By using plastic and dumping waste water into our lakes and ponds we are pollution entire drink reservoirs and habitats for fish and other animals.
