King Midas was king the region called Phyrgia. He was greedy and loved money over everything else. He also a loving wife and one daughter.
One day, some of King Midas's men found a lost Satyr, a goat-human mix. Satyrs are companions of the Greek god of wine, Dionysus.
When word got to Dionysus that this has happened, he decided to go grand King Midas a wish.
When Dionysus asked King Midas want he wanted, Midas replied and said that he wanted a golden touch so that whatever he touched would become gold.
After Dionysus left, Midas touched the walls to see what would happen. He did the same to the floor. But when he touched his daughter and wife, they were also turned into gold. King Midas Mourned and wept at this sight, but to no prevail.
Greed does not get you anywhere.
